Sometimes when you have generated a note or recorded a dictation, you don't want to review and finalize it straightaway, but rather store and come back later. This is where the History feature comes in.

How to access my History?

In either the sidebar, desktop app, you can see a 'History' button near the top of the view:

In the mobile app, the history is at the bottom of the view:

If you click this button, you'll be able to access all the notes you've generated and dictated in a list.

Understanding your History

The list of items presented will be in reverse chronological order, meaning newest items are at the top of the list. If you are looking for an older item, just scroll down the list.

Items are listed with the date, time and length of the visit.

The list will include both dictations and notes generated using Ambient Scribe. For the latter, you can view both the generated note and the original transcription.

Managing your History

Renaming notes

To help you keep track of which note is which, you can rename the notes in your history. To do so:

  1. Find the item in the history that you wish to rename

  2. Click on the title that is in place and start typing the new title

Deleting notes

If you wish to declutter the list, you can either delete individual notes or scroll down to the bottom of the list and select 'Delete all history'. See this page for specific instructions.
