Recovering an Encounter
The new Recovering an Encounter feature in the Tali AI Chrome extension ensures that notes or encounters you thought were lost can now be retrieved and resumed. Instead of losing progress due to browser crashes or accidental refreshes, these encounters will now appear in your history, allowing you to continue recording or start creating notes without missing a beat.
How it works
Start a New Recording
Open Tali on the Chrome Extension and begin recording a new patient encounter as usual.

Pause or Navigate Away
If you pause, refresh, or accidentally close the page, Tali will automatically save your progress.
Recover Your Encounter
- Open your History in Tali.

2. Encounters that would have been lost now appear in Drafts.

3. Click on the draft to resume recording or start generating notes from it.

💡 Tip: You can review what Tali captured so far and decide whether to continue recording or generate a note immediately.
Benefits of Recovered Encounters
- No More Lost Notes: Browser refreshes or accidental navigation won’t erase your progress.
- Seamless Continuation: Resume recordings exactly where you left off.
- Flexible Workflow: Start generating notes even if the recording isn’t complete.
