Tali’s upgraded AI Scribe recording experience is designed to improve the reliability of recording your notes, so you can focus on patient conversations without worrying about capturing all the important details—whether in real time or by uploading your own audio files.


This article will walk you through the new features and explain how to use them.

What’s New in Tali’s Recording Experience?

  1. Multi-Tab Recording

    • Benefit: Record seamlessly across multiple tabs without interruptions

    • Why it’s useful: Perfect for clinicians who need to switch between resources or maintain multiple workflows

  2. Fewer Distractions When Recording

    • Feature: Tali detects when you’re speaking and filters out silence or irrelevant noise

    • Why it’s useful: Ensures that your recordings are clear, focused, and free of unnecessary audio clutter

  3. Record Now, Upload and Transcribe Later

    • Feature: Upload pre-recorded audio files for transcription. Supported formats:

      • File Types: MP3 and WAV

      • File Size: Up to 500 MB

      • Recording Length: Up to 2 hours

    • Why it’s useful: Enables flexibility for recording on any device—whether it’s a smartphone, call recorder, or another device—and ensures accurate transcription

  4. More Reliable Transcription

    • Feature: Our improved transcription capabilities enhance accuracy and reliability while minimizing delay.

    • Why it’s useful: Ensures high-quality notes with better detection of both clinician and patient input, even in multi-participant conversations.

  5. New Transcribing Section

    • Feature: Once you start recording, you can access the transcription section by hitting the Transcribing button.

    • Why it’s useful: Allows you to view and track the progress of your transcription in real time, ensuring a smooth and reliable documentation process.

  6. Audio Feedback is Now Called Give Feedback

    • Feature: The Audio Feedback feature has been renamed to Give Feedback and has been moved to the navigation bar.

    • Why it’s useful: This will prevent accidental clicks and improve usability.

How to Use Tali’s New Recording Features

Start Recording

  • Begin your recording without worrying about switching tabs or windows

Upload Pre-Recorded Audio

  • Record on any device, then upload your audio file to Tali

  • Ensure your file meets the following requirements:

    • File Type: MP3 or WAV

    • File Size: Up to 500 MB

    • Recording Length: Up to 2 hours

  • Tali will transcribe and generate accurate, structured notes

Note: If you are recording a patient conversation or other private information outside of Tali, please make sure you treat that data with the appropriate care.
